Description
Designed for use in a costume ball or masquerade, these masks are small, lightweight, and packed with great surface textures that show up even at 0.20mm layer height!
Printed using Bambulab matte PLA.
Please be aware that, due to the required printing size to make a wearable mask, this model is not suitable for an A1 mini.
NO AMS NEEDED!
Horns are printed loose so you can print the mask in one colour and the horns in a different one! You do not need glue to keep the horns inserted, but be aware that the holes are tight, so you may have to work them in.
There is also a version that has no horns on it if you'd rather sculpt your own with clay onto the mask itself.
Wearing the mask
Holes for threading straps are found on the sides.
The thicker the cord/strap, the better support you'll have keeping the mask on.
The mask was sculpted over a standard styrofoam mannequin head model (Find it below) which makes the mask suitable for most adults to wear, but in the provided RAW STL files, they are small (best suited for kids). If you want them to fit a large adult, I recommend scaling them up by 10-15% if you're not using my 3MF file.

Print Set-up
Supports are required to print the mask; without them, the mask will not print well, if at all.
If you plan on using the RAW STL's and not my 3MF file, please follow the instructions below:
Turn supports ON.
Set the type to “Tree - Auto”.
Set the style to “Organic”.
The threshold angle should be unchanged (the default is 25/30).
Tick the “on build plate only” box.
Note that sometimes the auto-generation may fail to add supports to the eyes or the rim of the forehead. The mask will print still, but you may get 'looping' that will require you to sand them down.
Using a brim is optional, but is highly recommended, as the mask profile is narrow, it is at risk of coming off the hotbed without the brim.
As always, I recommend printing them in matte white, spray-painting them with a primer, then painting them by hand.
NOTE: Please use the raw STL's if the 3MF doesn't open. I am not responsible for other peoples' print profiles.
