Wire Thimble - 22AWG, crimpable

A wire thimble designed for the end of an end-fed half wave long wire antenna and associated counterpoise. It is sized to accept flexible 22AWG wire. The area along the curve is open for easy manipulation and feeding of the wire. It is meant to be heated with a directional heat gun or lighter and then "crimped" with pliers to fix the short end of the wire within the end of the thimble.

Despite the original 22AWG sizing, the part can be easily scaled up and down for other wire sizes, provided that the radius of curvature is not critical to your application.
