Alientek T80P Case Revamped

Update 04.07.2026:
 - added a version of the insert that can hold 2 reels and an accompanying lid for the smaller compartment
 - slightly tightened tolerance for the stand-slot

This is a better and improved storage box built on the fan-favourite parametric rugged box by Whity. Taking inspiration from the existing T80P cases, I completely rebuilt the inserts from scratch, taking what works and ditching what doesn't.

List of improvements over vrsn3ptoh's case:

1. Finger-groove for the iron to get it out easier

2. Compliant mechanism to hold the iron

3. Compliant mechanism to hold crhou1's screw-top flux jar tight

4. Compliant mechanism to hold up to 4 tips securely

5. 2 lidded compartments to store a small amount of whatever you may need, or just to stuff full of brass tip cleaner sponge. Lid prevents the tip cleaner contaminating the entire box with solder blobs.

Tested in ASA and PETG. Tip holder and screw-top flux jar holder may be difficult to get to work right with very stiff materials like PLA.

Included are two "weights" of the external case - one thinned-down slimmer version optimized for this project and one thicker one that's taken directly from my Parametric Rugged box generator.

Some of the addons are not my design, such as the stand and the screw-top flux jar. These you can find in the linked remixes.

Important! 

The inserts unfortunately do not fit right into vrsn3ptoh's case as my case is built directly on top of Whity's original rugged box design, which seems to be a little bit different! If you have this case and want to use only my improved inserts, you would have to reprint the entire case.
