Description
If you want a nice set of parallette bars for your callisthenic training, look no further!
Designed to be 3D printed in PLA, these will fit on almost every 3D printer on the market. You can print these in whatever color or material you have, for a nice, functional and cheap alternative to more expensive options. There are cutouts on the base to add more friction and prevent sliding on carpet or a yoga mat. Use on hard floors at your own risk.
We recommend printing these in the default orientation you will see when importing this file into your slicer. (handle on the bed, with the base extending upwards.) This ensures the strongest possible arrangement of your layers.
We also recommend printing in a matte plastic if you have some available, or just tape the handles to provide a better grip.
We printed these, with a .6mm nozzle, 4 top layers, 4 bottom layers, and 3 walls, with only 10% infill. This was more than strong enough to support a 190 lb man standing on just one parallette bar.
We recommend you print yours slightly more dense, with 4 or 5 walls, and closer to 20% infill, or even higher. The stronger the better. Each individual parallette should be AT LEAST 300 grams of filament to ensure proper strength.
