Description
[ slatted frame too soft with available double slats ]
I have a slatted frame that is somewhat too soft, even with maximum hardness adjustment of the available double slats.
As I also have a number of slats on stock from another unused slatted frame, I decided to increase the number of double slats on my "soft" slatted frame.
[ O-Sliders for additional double slats ]
To attach the additional double slats I simply designed a simple O-Slider (similar to the design of the existing O-sliders).
When printed with TPU 95A, the resulting parts perfectly suit their purpose.
[ Slat modification ]
The slats from the other slatted frame where too long to be attached under the existing slats of the "soft" slatted frame.
After shortening them by 9cm, they now perfectly fit into the new position.
The material recommended is TPU 95A, as during usage the O-Slider has to withstand strong forces.
The parts can be printed without brim or supports.
Printed with SUNLU TPU 95A (White).
