Alumni License Plate holder

A Customizable License Plate Holder made out of TPU.  I used both 98A and 95A TPU.  Either 98A or 95A can be used, it's just what I had in the Bates College colors.  It takes some effort to squeeze the letters and artwork into the Top and Bottom frames. I ended up using the back of a putty knife. 

There are blank plates and frames to customize the text and/or artwork.  The raised letters are 2.4 mm high on the Alumni and Bates plates.  To make the holes for the letters in the Top and Bottom Frames, do a Boolean difference using the raised letters.  Be sure the letters A, B, D, O, Q, and R have cuts (see PlateB_Bates for examples) so the boolean leaves some material in the Frame.  Because TPU 95A is squishy, there is no need to cut wider letters in the Frame.

Still working on 3MF files for the prints that require supports or angled layout on a 200mm x 200mm build plate.

Print Instructions: (work in progress)

• Resolution: 0.2 mm

• Infill: 15% Grid

• Sliced with Bambu Studio using the generic TPU settings.

• Textured PEI plate

• Tree supports were used for PlateR and PlateL

White: DuramiC 3D TPU 95A

Burgundy: SUNLU TPU Silk 98A

Assembly: I used crazy glue gel to glue the pieces together.
