Celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026 with this model of Mexico's historical host venue: Estadio Ciudad de México / Azteca / Banorte !
Finished in 1966, it was designed by prominent Mexican architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez. It is the only stadium in the world to have hosted three FIFA World Cups, in 1970, 1986 and 2026, also the only ever to have hosted two World Cup finals.
It has been renovated several times, the latest being for the 2026 World Cup. It currently sits 87,000 spectators (down from 95,500), making it the largest stadium in Mexico, and 8th largest soccer stadium in the world by capacity.
Besides being the official home of Mexico's national team, it has also been home to Mexican League clubs America, Cruz Azul, Atlante, and others (from Wikipedia).

No supports. There are some overhangs and bridges, but modern printers with high speeds, input shaper and good cooling can handle them fine. Adding supports could not improve anything and instead add difficulty and print time/material.
Infill 15% , lightning pattern ok.
Print each part on its own. Assembly is easy and straight-forward. All file names are clearly labeled. Use the photographs as a guide. All parts just fit, but use glue for a permanent fix .
You can use the pause-and-change filament method to have some extra colorful parts without the need for MMU/AMS necessarily. If you do have MMU/AMS, you can achieve amazing details by printing with many colors each separate part.
To have the classic version before the BANORTE remodel, omit the top red ring and scale the roof in X and Y (but NOT ON Z) to fit up to the edges.
The pre-painted files are for the current look (2026), you can paint your own designs in your slicer like the classic CORONA and COCA COLA designs from previous decades.
Print the provided A4 PDF on paper for decals and add them at your taste. It includes a blank template to make your own decals, I made some specifically for the World Cup 2026.
Slight cleanup with a knife or sanding might be necessary to eliminate print imperfections that collide and prevent a smooth assembly.
