Description
This is a versatile assortment of Magnetic Dust Collection Accessories, perfect for small woodshops or dedicated workstations where you run multiple tools, but only have one main vacuum hose to swap around.
Instead of wrestling with tight, friction-fit hoses during every tool change, these allow you to snap lines together securely via integrated neodymium magnets and pull them apart with a simple twist.

2.75'' Magnetic Threaded Base Set:
Identical concept to the 2.5" system but scaled up to a 2.75" square magnetic base for heavier-duty setups. The receiving end is available in two distinct variations depending on your plumbing preference.

Dust Intakes: These print reliably on most tuned setups. However, if your printer struggles with bridging, consider adding small custom supports underneath the four flat corners where the geometry transitions from a square flange to a circular port.
Bed Adhesion: Adding custom brims to the sharp corners of the square flange can prevent lifting or warping—especially when printing with ABS or PETG on a cool bed.
Threaded Ends Support Trick: I have included an additional specialized STL for a custom support tailored for the threaded base. To use this:
Disable any "ensure model separation" settings in your slicer.
Center both models together so they align perfectly.
Ensure the support model is designated to print explicitly as a support structure in your slicer settings.
Critical: Double-check your magnet polarities before gluing them into the pockets so your bases attract rather than repel each other!
The Foolproof Magnet Trick:
Stack 4 magnets on top of each other to ensure the polarity for all of them is facing the same way.
Glue the 4 magnets securely into your first completed part (making sure not to flip the stack) and let them dry.
Let 4 new magnets naturally snap onto the magnets of the completed part.
Take a marker and mark the exposed, outward-facing side of those magnets.
Push those magnets directly from the first part straight into the pockets of the opposing part, ensuring your marker mark goes face down into the pocket.
As long as you stay consistent, this guarantees a perfect, satisfying snap every single time!
