Tamiya Lunchbox Wheel covers copri cerchio

I designed these wheel covers for the Tamiya Lunch Box. They feature a snap-fit design and should be installed by hand with a firm amount of pressure to ensure they stay securely in place while driving.

The covers include four slots that must be aligned with the ventilation holes in the wheel. This is important because the tire needs to be able to release air when pressure builds up during use. If the slots are not aligned with the wheel holes, the tire will not vent properly.

I printed the wheel covers in PLA, which has proven to be sufficiently rigid and durable for this application.

Ho progettato questi copricerchi per il Tamiya Lunch Box. Sono realizzati con un sistema ad incastro e devono essere montati a mano esercitando una certa pressione, in modo che rimangano ben fissati durante la guida.

I copricerchi presentano quattro asole che devono essere allineate ai fori di ventilazione presenti sul cerchio. Questo è importante perché il pneumatico deve poter sfogare l'aria quando va in pressione durante l'utilizzo. Se le asole non sono in corrispondenza dei fori del cerchio, il pneumatico non potrà ventilare correttamente.

Ho stampato i copricerchi in PLA, materiale che si è dimostrato sufficientemente rigido e resistente per questo utilizzo.
