Description
A completely recycled storage unit using Filament reels as the frame and 3D printed drawers. The design is modular, allowing the user to stack as many drawers as they want as well as to adapt the drawers to have sub-sections so that the drawer space can be further divided.
Step 1: Print the drawers for your filament spool
Step 2: Print the alignment device for the chosen filament spool, drill all the necessary holes
Step 3: Get some copper wire and bend it into a U shape and thread it through the drawers and the spool itself.
Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 for as many spools as you have
Step 5: Print the corresponding joints for the chosen spools
Step 6: Print the legs as well as the base parts
Step 7: Print the Foot Pad in flexible filament
Step 8: Assemble the Base Assembly(Legs and Container Mount)
Step 9: Screw all containers together using the different joints
Step 10: Finally mount the Container unit onto the base assembly.
Step 11: Bonus edit the label word document for your own parts and print out the sheet. Cut out labels and place them on the drawers.
