The Inspiration
As a lacrosse goalie, I constantly dealt with grass, mud, and debris building up in my cleats. This buildup reduced traction, made quick movements less reliable, and increased the risk of slipping while making saves. During practices and games, I often had to stop and dig mud out by hand, leaving my hands dirty and transferring mud onto my gloves.
That frustration inspired me to create CLEAT CLEAN—a simple, portable tool that allows athletes to quickly clean their cleats and get back to performing at their best.
CLEAT CLEAN is a compact, 3D-printable cleat maintenance tool designed to quickly remove mud, dirt, rocks, and debris from athletic cleats. Its one-piece design makes it durable, lightweight, easy to print, and convenient to carry on a sports bag, backpack, or keychain.
