Under-Desk Mount for IKEA Koppla Power Strip – Parametric (FreeCAD)

These mounts clip onto the IKEA Koppla power strip and let you secure it cleanly to the underside of your desk. No glue, no velcro, no ugly solutions — just a solid, hidden mount.

What's included:

• Two mirrored mount pieces (left and right), each with 4 screw holes for securing to the underside of your desk

• FreeCAD source file with adjustable parameters

Print settings:

• Print standing upright — do not lay flat

• Print both pieces — they are mirrored, not identical

⚠ Important — Mind the Orientation The two parts are mirrored. Make sure to insert them correctly — the Koppla has a plastic spring that only fits into one side. Double-check before pressing them into place.

How to install:

1. Print both parts standing upright

2. Clip the two mounts onto either side of the Koppla — make sure the piece with the spring cutout is on the correct side

3. Slide the Koppla into the hole in your desk from below

4. Secure each mount to the underside of your desk using the 4 screw holes per piece

Parametric – Adjust for Your Desk The included FreeCAD file is fully parametric. Two key variables can be found in the Varset collection:

• Desk thickness — set to 17mm by default

• Koppla offset from desk top — set to 2mm by default

Adjust these to match your own setup before exporting for print.
