Description
Based loosely on a very popular design, this palette brings the price down to terrestrial levels. Firstly let me say that some assembly is required, unless you order one directly from my website. Otherwise:
The two hinges require a short length of raw unprinted filament, this acts as the hinge pin. You simply thread it carefully through the open end, wedding the two corresponding hinge halves together, then clip the end that's sticking out once you reach the capped end.
Second, you will need two 8x3 mm Neodymium disc magnets for the closure mechanism. There are two cavities for those, one is deep and one is flush-fit. Use a punch to carefully seat a magnet into the deep hole, then glue the second magnet into the flush hole. Of course make sure it is facing the right magnetic orientation first. A light coating of super glue is all you should need to secure it.
