Gridfinity Bin for WoodOwl OverDrive Bits

Wood Owl's OverDrive bits are the best option when it comes to drilling clean holes, but unless you bought them recently and could get the set with included tool roll, they don't come with a good way to keep them safe. Enter Gridfinity and Matthew's excellent Modern Gridfinity Case.

The case holds the bits in place relatively well with a friction fit on the narrowest profile of the hex connector on the bits. If it's too tight, a couple quick passes with sandpaper should fix it.

There are three versions available:

• No Text

  • If you're like me and want to use labels (I totally didn't forget to add the text before I printed one for myself).

• Embossed Text

  • 0.4mm of embossed text with the drill bit sizes.

• Debossed Text

  • If you prefer debossed text.

  • Alternately, grab the provided STL with the text and print it in a different color on a multi-material printer.

Don't forget to cut off the built-in brims once the print finishes.

As with most of my designs, you can find the parametric source here at Onshape, which has a few options to control the depth of the text and disable the auto-generated brims.

These files are licensed under the MIT license just like the core gridfinity designs.  Printables currently doesn't have an option for this license.
