Deathly Hallows Fridge Magnet

The three Deathly Hallows — the Cloak (triangle), the Resurrection

Stone (circle) and the Elder Wand (vertical line) — as a slim, clean

fridge magnet. The symbol is the print: no backing plate, ~5 mm

thick, elegant constant-width strokes, circle tangent to all three

sides, wand ending exactly at the apex.

Magnets hidden inside — no glue, no exposed metal. Each of the

three triangle corners is rounded just enough to bury a Ø5 × 3 mm

neodymium disc. The pockets are fully enclosed (1 mm wall on each

face), so both faces stay smooth and either side can go against the

fridge. Placement is symmetric, so you never have to think about which

way round it sits.

How to print — the one thing to get right (the pause):

1. Print flat on the bed, no supports. (Default 0.2 mm layers.)

2. 2. Add a filament/print PAUSE at Z = 4.0 mm — that is layer 20

3.    at a 0.2 mm layer height. In Bambu Studio: right-click that layer

4.    in Preview → Add Pause, or insert an M0there.

5. 3. At the pause the three corner pockets are open little cups. Drop one

6.    Ø5 × 3 mm magnet into each. Orient all three the SAME polarity

7.    (stack them together first so they all face the same way), otherwise

8.    the magnet won't grab the fridge.

9. 4. Resume the print. The next layers bridge over and seal the magnets

10.    permanently inside.

That single pause is the whole trick — when it finishes the magnets are

invisible and captive forever.

Specs (default): ~58 mm triangle, 5 mm thick, 3 × Ø5 × 3 mm

magnets. Three small discs give a confident hold on a steel fridge /

locker / toolbox.

Parametric deathly_hallows_magnet.scad): edit the header to

retune tri_s(overall size), stroke(line thickness), corner_r

(corner rounding), and magnet_d/ magnet_h(the pause height moves

automatically to mag_floor + magnet_h). part = "section"renders a

cutaway so you can see the sealed pockets.

The gallery shows the printed magnet (black PLA) and the same piece

holding itself on a metal surface.
