Description
I’ve spent a lot of time refining this geometric container, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The goal was to create something that actually looks great in the living room or shelf while being simple to print.
You don't need to use support at all. It’s designed to print perfectly clean, right off the bed. Plus, because of the geometric facets, any layer seams are almost impossible to see, giving the finished piece a much more professional, solid look. This model is 10,5 cm tall, but you can scale it up or down to your needs.
How I’ve been using it:
On my desk: It’s the perfect size for pens, markers, or just a catch-all for loose items.
As a planter or vase: It looks fantastic with flowers, a succulent or a small houseplant.
Around the house: It’s sturdy enough to hold makeup brushes, small kitchen tools, or whatever else you need to keep organized.
Dice Cup / Token Holder: An elegant addition to any tabletop game night.
Recommended print settings:
Material: It looks amazing with Galaxy/Sparkle or matte/silk PLA. I printed it with Prusament recycled PLA. If you are going to use it as a vase or planter, I recommend PETG to make it more water proof.
Supports: None
Infill: 10% gyroid
Layer Height: 0.20 mm
Walls/Perimeters: 2. If you are going to use it as a planter or vase, you should increase the number of perimeters/walls to 4, and solid layers at the bottom to 5.
Outer walls/top solid infill speed: 50 mm/s
I recently built my Core One, and started 3d printing and modelling. I absolutely love it. Please check out my profile and consider following me for more models later. I test print every design I make, and make changes if there is anything I don't like. My goal is to post only high quality models.
