Description

So I was shopping for toothpicks and there I was, looking at the options, toothpicks with a holder and toothpicks without a holder. And I thought to myself, “I can make a holder myself”, so I brought the ones without a holder and started working on one.

I started with a cylindrical shape, added a cap with threads and instead of a simple hole, I added a simple slider in order to be possible to have both a hole and be able to close it.

Printing

Regarding rotation of the pieces, I would advise printing them as they are, especially the “cap” since it has a fillet.

Layer height: 0.2mm

Infill: 15%

Assembly

The tolerance for the threads is 0.2mm so it should be no hassle assembling it.

The slider and the cap can be put together with a single M3x5 screw.
