jumbo scoop

I designed this scoop when my girlfriend broke her soil scoop (we scoop a lot of soil over here). I couldn't find a really big one (although I also didn't look very hard). I have since also printed another one to scoop cat litter from the giant litter bucket into the litter box. I guess you can also scoop peanut butter cups if you really want! Your choice, really.

Print settings

Look… print this however you like. I am not here to tell you what to do. But if you want to know what I'd do…

• Layer height: 0.3mm (it's a scoop, you don't need detail, let's go for speed)
• Line width: 0.8mm (again, going for speed here… go ahead and set this even on your 0.4mm nozzle)
• Infill: 12%, line pattern (you need some inside the handle)

Bonus points, line up the seam to be at the back of the scoop where the handle is (right side, as oriented in the model).

Notes

The printed scoop in the images was printed in whatever $10 roll of black PLA I bought like 6 months ago on an Elegoo Neptune 2 with a 0.4mm nozzle.
