Description
Although this may look very similar to the model https://www.printables.com/model/783093-detachable-dewalt-router-circle-jig I have completely created this from scratch on my end using that as inspiration.
There are two versions, a two piece and three piece version. I didn't mind having the attachment points for the rods permanently attached to my router base so I made one version with that and one where you can detach it. The base piece that accepts the rods is closed on the router side since it is not needed to have the rods extend past that piece, I added a sight hole to make sure rods are fully seated or if you need to push the rods out. The rod holes are INTENTIONALLY tight, ream holes out with a M8 reamer to get a perfect fit. There is a 2mm hole on the other side for your nail, screw, whatever you will use to rotate the jig around. Print with a higher wall count and you can ream this hole out if you need it larger.
What you'll need for this:
2 x M8 rods are needed, depending on how large of a circle you'd like to cut, in my case I had some 370mm hanging around that are used.
7 x M3x8 SHCS for the three piece version, 4x M3x8 SHCS for the two piece version
4 x M3 Square nuts for both version
3 x M3x5x4 Heatset inserts (Voron size) if you are using the three piece version
You will reuse the screws that hold the base to your router from the original base
STEP/STL files are included so have fun if you want to alter it.
