Silicone / Caulk Gun Applicator

Use brim for cartridge body + 3 walls. 

A fully 3D printed applicator for silicone, caulk, sealant, adhesives, and other standard cartridge-based materials.

The tool is designed as an alternative to a classic caulking gun and uses a threaded mechanism for controlled material extrusion.

The applicator consists of 4 main parts:

• Threaded handle rod
• Piston piece
• Cartridge body
• Top threaded locking collar

Assembly is simple: insert the threaded handle rod into the bottom thread of the body, extend it slightly, screw the piston onto the rod, insert the cartridge, and secure it with the top threaded collar.

When the handle is turned clockwise, the piston moves forward and pushes the material out of the cartridge.

Compared to a standard caulking gun, the threaded mechanism allows smoother and more consistent control during application. It also avoids the ratchet / spring mechanism used in many common caulking guns, which can sometimes feel uneven or get stuck.
