Description
The Panzerkampfwagen III, commonly known as the Panzer III, was the backbone of the German Panzerwaffe (armored force) during the early, fast-moving campaigns of World War II. Designed in the mid-1930s by Heinz Guderian as a dedicated anti-tank fighter, it was intended to serve alongside the infantry-support Panzer IV. Although in the later stages of the war this tank was deemed insufficient against the allied armor and thus the Germans stopped making Panzer III's. Because there were a lot of factories making the hull of the panzer III and at the time they had need for a cheap tank destroyer the StuG III was born.
For printing, parts other than these need no supports.
All cannon's are intended to be printed flat and need support for their barrel.
The hull is intended to be printed on an angle with supports on the machinegun and viewport.
And the turret needs supports highlighted as green.
The bushing is printed as a single piece and must be broken loose to rotate smoothly. Because it requires a fair amount of force to snap. Insert the bushing into the hull, place the turret on top, and use the entire turret as leverage to firmly twist and snap the mechanism free.
