Coral Frag Plug Travel Holder

This coral frag plug holder has been designed to fit in 120ml fluid sample screw top contains. The STEP file is included for you to remix. 

Print the base with the flat TPU surface facing down. The flexible TPU plate provides a tight grip on the frag plug stem. The remainder of the base can be printed in the same TPU material, or for easier printing, switch to PETG. PETG and TPU bond together, so no adhesives are required, simply insert a colour change or pause your print after the TPU layers and switch to PETG to print the base as a single part.

The handle clips on to the sides of the stand to provide protection to frag during travel. This part can be printed in either PETG (pictured) or TPU. 

Use caution when printing TPU on PEI sheets, as TPU can adhere strongly and possibly damage the print bed during part removal. After printing, applying some isopropyl alcohol around the part/plate and leaving to soak for a few minutes can help the part separate from the bed.
