Astra Lumafloris - Lamp with upcycled Fiberlogy spools

Introduction

The 3D printed lamp business is growing. It's cool, but it creates a lot of plastic waste compared to injection molding. To reduce plastic waste, I made a design that allows you to upcycle one and a half Prusament spools per lamp. You only need to add unprintable electrical hardware.

BOM - Printed parts

- 1x Base
- 1x Base_with_thread
- 3x Block
- 3x Clip

BOM - non printed parts:

- 1x Bulb socket with cord and plug
- 1x Bulb

Printing settings

I recommend using PET-G for printing due to its thermal resistance. Also, I highly recommend using only LED bulbs because they create less heat than traditional bulbs.
Brim is required for printing Bases. Inverted "pyramid" shape causes wrapping corners. You can print without brim if first layer adhesion on your buildplate is really high.
