Description
A lid for 0.25-liter beverage cans that prevents insects from getting into the can.
Material consumption is just 9.2 grams (3.0 meters) of filament.
The lid fits securely on most cans and does not open on its own—this feature has proven useful in my car, as it prevents spills. However, the lid is not completely watertight.
During testing, I found that major manufacturers like Coca-Cola, Red Bull, etc., all use the same can rim dimensions, but various local manufacturers differ slightly from these dimensions. That is why I am including two lid sizes here. For manufacturers like Red Bull, Coca-Cola, and similar brands, you’ll find a lid labeled WORLD; for local manufacturers, it’s labeled LOCAL—this lid is slightly larger (by about 0.1 mm).
The lid still includes my modifications from the large model—a modified pin for easier printing and an adjusted lid opening angle—which should prevent the lid from breaking if you accidentally bump into it (it also makes it easier for me to drink from the can, since the lid isn’t right in front of my face).
