Description
Many users have encountered issues where certain filaments become brittle in the high-friction serpentine filament tubes. These guides are designed to shorten the travel of filament in the tubes and eliminate 2 turns of the filament.
The PFTE tubes are now 34" and have only 1 sharp turn, as opposed to 52" and 3 turns.
The spools are now placed back of or below the printer.
The model has a firm insert tab. You may need to file this a little and firmly press to insert. It adds rigidity.
I have always had the side sensors turned off. This design does not move or replace those sensors. You need to have those sensors turned off in settings. I have also replaced the tubes with 4mm (outer) 2.5mm (inner) to further reduce friction. Original tubes have an inner diameter of 2mm.
