Description
Not much too this one - it's a lens cover for the Brownie Target Six-20 box camera. My main motivation for making this was to prevent accidentally exposing the film while transporting the camera, and not so much "protecting" the lens, as there's no shutter lock on these cameras. It covers both the main lens as well as both viewfinder lenses (mostly so that I don't accidentally take a photo with the cap on).
It attaches with three 8x1mm magnets, but you could use other sizes if you wanted to edit the file (it's a STEP file so you should be able to easily edit it in most CAD applications). You may need to glue them in, depending on your printers tolerances and how close to 8mm the diameter of your magnets actually is.
I would recommend printing it out of PETG, ASA/ABS, or another similarly durable material, but PLA is probably just fine unless you leave it in a hot car or similar environment for an extended period. I printed mine with supports and an interface material layer for a nice, clean underside, as there's not a ton of clearance between the cover and the rims around the lenses, but you can almost certainly get away without using a support interface material, and probably without supports at all, if your bridges are good.
