This is a completely original design, custom modelled to attach neatly onto the factory dashboard trim panel — no drilling, no permanent modifications.

Designed primarily around the Icom radio handset clip, but likely compatible with most standard UHF radio handset clips.

🖨 Recommended Print Settings

⚠ ASA or ABS is strongly recommended for UV and heat resistance — dashboards in direct sunlight can reach extreme temperatures that will deform PLA or PETG.

🔧 Installation

1. Print face-down — no supports needed.

2. Clean the dash trim with isopropyl alcohol.

3. Apply double-sided tape (VHB tape works well) to the flat rear face.

4. Align rear into recess, as shown in photos.

5. Press firmly onto the dash trim and allow to cure. 

💡 Tip: If tape adhesion to ASA is poor, lightly coat the back surface with a thin layer of PVA glue or super glue and allow to fully cure before applying tape. This creates a much better bonding surface.
