2.5" Ducts for Bambu P2S and P1 Exhaust - see description

THESE DO NOT WORK WITH THE STANDARD BAMBU P2S EXHAUST.  THESE ONLY WORK WITH THE MODELS SHOWN BELOW.

These are 2.5" magnetically attached ducts which work with the following models:

Low Profile P2S Chamber Exhaust Fan Kit ver1.0

Bambu P1S 2" and 2.5" Magnetic Duct Adapters

These ducts are currently untested, however all of the elements of the design have been tested independently.  Please provide feedback if you see any issues and I will try to assist if the issue is with the model.  Please ask questions if you are unsure of compatibility, assembly or find a problem with the design.   No warranties are given.

These ducts require the following parts:

• (8) 10x3 cylinder magnets

• zip ties (to attach the hose)

• A 2.5 in dust collection hose, such as this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M35BE8D

To assemble the ducts:

Install 8 of the 10x3 cylinder magnets into the cover as shown.  Pay special attention to the polarity of these magnets, and how they are installed, so they will attract the magnets which will be installed in the duct.  It can help to mark one pole of the magnets with a sharpie before starting, so there is a visual indicator of their polarity.  I recommend installing the magnets so the poles are all pointed in the same direction, which will make things easier later.  A drop of superglue will help secure them.

To assemble the 2.5" hose couplers:

It's important to note that the center part (B) in the image above needs to go on the end of the 2.5" hose after the collar (C) is threaded onto the hose first.  The collar is then slid back down and positioned over part B.  Finally the zip ties can be installed over the hose (and over part B).  The zip ties cannot be installed before the collar (C) is in it's final position over part B.  I use two zip ties and have not had any issues.
