CreatorClip – Adjustable Monitor/Webcam Mount

The CreatorClip is a fully 3D printable adjustable monitor/webcam mount designed for webcams, mirrorless cameras, action cameras, lights, and other accessories using a standard 1/4-20 mounting system.

The adjustable clamp design allows the mount to securely attach to a wide variety of modern monitors while remaining compact, lightweight, and easy to use. The angled support structure helps provide additional rigidity while maintaining a clean and minimal design.

This project was designed with printability in mind and can be printed without supports on most FDM printers. Depending on printer tuning and bridging performance, some users may prefer enabling minimal supports under select overhangs.

Adjustment Notes:
One interesting feature of the adjustable clamp design is that the camera angle can be slightly adjusted by changing clamp tension. Loosening the clamp slightly allows the mount to lean back a bit for a higher camera angle, while tightening the clamp creates more of a downward-facing angle. Just do not overtighten the clamp 😉

Recommended Print Settings:

PLA Parts:

0.2mm layer height
2 walls
30% infill
Auto brim: On

TPE Parts:

0.2mm layer height
2 walls
100% infill

The included photos show the recommended print orientation.
Hardware Notes:

1 inch 1/4-20 threaded rod/all-thread should also work well for the camera mount stud
The M5 bolt size is commonly found in many action camera knobs and mounting accessories
The 1/4-20 stud can likely be left loose if you want it to remain rotatable instead of gluing it in place
