Tripod Quick Release Mounts

These quick release mounts for tripods are available in 35mm and 44mm.

Required hardware:
I recommend a D Shaft D-Ring 1/4" Tripod Screw Adapter

Printing recommendations:
You can print the top and bottom independently and glue them together after, or you can print them as one part with a multi material printer. I designed this with putting the Snapmaker U1 to the test in mind, printing the body in PETG, printing the supports in PLA, and printing the grip in TPU.

I highly recommend using the following settings:
Scarf Joint: Contour and Hole
Ironing Type: All top surfaces
4 walls

For multi-filament printers:
Normal auto supports
Set Support/raft base to your primary filament for the body
Set Support/raft interface to the opposite type of plastic (PETG / PLA)
Enable Ironing Support Interface
Set Top Z to 0
Set Top interface layers to 4

For multi head printers:
Set Filament for Features > Wipe Tower to your primary plastic
Use beam interlocking
