Description
Parametric Robot Vacuum Ramp
This is a parametric door threshold ramp for robot vacuums. Open the Fusion 360 file and adjust the parameters to fit your door and printer.
Parameters
Parameter | What it does |
|---|---|
| How high the ramp needs to be (your threshold height) |
| How long the ramp is front to back (controls the angle) |
| The total width of the assembled ramp |
| The max length your printer can print in one go |
| Length of the snap connectors between pieces |
The Four Bodies
The file always generates four bodies. You won't always need all of them.
Single Unit Use this when entire_ramp_width fits within max_print_length. One piece, done.
Left Unit + Right Unit Use these when you need exactly two pieces.
Left Unit + Filler Unit(s) + Right Unit Use these when you need three or more pieces. Print as many Filler Units as needed to fill the gap.
Example: 800mm width / 250mm printer = 4 pieces. So you need 2 Filler Units.
How to know how many pieces you need
Divide entire_ramp_width by max_print_length and round up. That's your piece count.
Print Left Unit + 2x Filler Unit + Right Unit.
Assembly
The pieces snap together. Just press them in from the top.
