Description
A planter that looks designer and takes care of the watering for you.
This isn't a plain pot — it's a faceted, gently twisted low-poly vessel with a flared rim and a beveled foot that looks like a hand-finished ceramic. Underneath the good looks is a proper self-watering system that solves the #1 houseplant problem: inconsistent watering.
It's two nested parts. The grow pot holds soil and your plant; the faceted outer pot stores water in a hidden reservoir. A built-in wick column draws moisture up into the roots exactly as fast as the plant needs it. Top up the reservoir about once a week and you're done.
Designed for real use: the soil sits above the waterline (no root rot), the wick reaches below it, and a discreet overflow hole on one facet sets a safe maximum level so you can't drown your plant.
### How it works
1. Fill the inner pot with soil through and around the central wick channel.
2. Plant your seedling, drop the inner pot into the outer pot (it rests on the rim).
3. Pour water into the gap around the rim until it trickles from the overflow hole.
4. The wick keeps the soil moist for days — refill when it feels light.

## PRINT SETTINGS
- **Material:** PETG strongly recommended (constant moisture); PLA works short-term
- Layer height: 0.20 mm (0.16 mm for extra-crisp facets)
- **Walls / perimeters:** 3–4 (helps water-tightness)
- Infill: 12–15 %
- **Supports:** None — the facets, flared rim and bevel are all self-supporting
- Orientation: Both parts as exported — openings up, flat on the plate
- Watertightness tip: 4 walls + 5 top/bottom layers makes the reservoir reliably water-holding. In PLA, seal the inside with a brush of food-safe epoxy for long-term use.
- Print time: Outer planter ~4–5 h · Inner pot ~3 h
