Description
Retro Gaming Light Switch Covers
Transform your standard wall switches into a nostalgic homage to classic gaming consoles. This project includes three interchangeable designs: the Nintendo NES D-pad, the Sega Master System D-pad, and the iconic Atari 2600 joystick.
Printing Recommendations
Material: PLA is highly recommended for the best finish.
Layer Height: Set your layer height to 0.16 mm to ensure crisp, sharp details on the directional pads.
Colors & AMS: The Atari model features its signature red button, which requires an AMS setup. If you do not have an AMS, you can simply print this part in solid black.
Dimensions & Installation
Compatibility: These covers are specifically adapted for single (not double) square light switches measuring 87x87mm. You can easily resize the models directly in your slicer to fit your specific wall plates, as long as you scale them uniformly so the model remains square.
Joystick Assembly: For the Atari version, use the white piece of the model as a centering guide to accurately position and glue the joystick stick into place.
Wall Mounting: No screws required. Use thick double-sided tape to securely attach the cover over your existing switch.
