Zimaboard Wall Mount with PCIe NIC

I wanted to mount my Zimaboard and an extra 2.5Gbps NIC as I plan to use this as a pfSense router. I've provided 2 versions, one which uses brass inserts to secure the NIC onto, the other which provides smaller holes for M3 bolts to self tap into. 

This uses the M3 bolts from removing the standard PCI mounting bracket.

The bottom Zima branded plastic plate is removed to allow the existing bolts to be used to secure the plate to the Zimaboard. This may also benefit cooling

• Short M3 Brass Inserts IUB-M3-1 from Mouser Electronics

Printing

Suggest using PETG, though PLA should be fine if not running in too warm an environment.

• Material: PETG Prusament Orange
• Print Settings (PrusaSlicer): 0.20mm Quality, 15% infill
• Supports: None

Assembly

• If using brass inserts:
  • Using a soldering iron gently press the short M3 brass inserts into place.
• Remove bolts from the rear of Zimaboard and remove the topmost (solid) plastic plate.
• Attach to wall plate using 2 remaining spacers and the original bolts. Bolts are recessed to allow the plate to be flat to the wall. The recesses may need to be cleaned up before 1st use.
• Remove the metal bracket from the NIC.
• Attach NIC to the plate using the M3 bolts removed from the bracket.
• Mount the plate to whatever surface you have in mind using the 5mm holes
