Self-Tightening Bungee / Slingshot Tube Clamp (12mm OD / 8mm ID)

Description This is the ultimate, clean solution for securely attaching lines to latex or silicone slingshot tubing without tying knots or risking tearing!

Key Dimensions:

• Tube Outer Diameter (OD): 12 mm (7/16'')

• Tube Inner Diameter (ID): 8 mm (5/16'')

• Designed specifically for the stonylab natural latex rubber tubing.

Key Features & Design:

• Self-Tightening Mechanism: Features an inner plug with three retaining ridges and a matching outer sleeve. As the pulling force on the line increases, the sleeve compresses the rubber tube even tighter against the plug's ridges.

• Tear Prevention: Eliminates the need for zip ties or tight knots that create stress points and cut into the rubber under tension.

• High Load Capacity: Designed for serious tension. Tested to easily withstand 10–20kg of pulling force without breaking or slipping.

Print Settings & Instructions (Crucial for Strength):

• Nozzle: 0.6mm strongly recommended! (Tested with a 0.6mm nozzle for massive layer adhesion). Note: If you use a standard 0.4mm nozzle, you might experience weaker Z-axis strength. Increase your wall count significantly to compensate!

• Layer Height: 0.24mm

• Walls/Perimeters: 3 (with 0.6mm nozzle)

• Top/Bottom Layers: 4

• Infill: 25% Gyroid (provides excellent multi-directional strength)

• Adhesion: 5mm Brim (Outer only)

• Material: PLA (ensure excellent layer adhesion/high temp to prevent Z-seam splitting) or PETG/ABS for extra durability.

Hardware Required:

• Latex or Silicone Tubing (12mm OD / 8mm ID)

• Paracord or strong line for the attachment loop

Installation:

1. Slide the outer sleeve onto the rubber tube.

2. Push the ridged inner plug fully into the end of the tube.

3. Slide the outer sleeve back over the plug area.

4. Attach your tow line to the sleeve's anchor points. As you pull, the friction locks everything firmly in place!
