Description
This 3D model represents the nucleosome based on the 3C1B X-ray crystallography structure. It illustrates the organization of DNA wrapped around the histone protein core, the fundamental unit of chromatin in eukaryotic cells (in this case a frog). The model has been optimized for reliable 3D printing while preserving the overall structural features. It is ideal for teaching molecular biology, genetics, and structural biology concepts. This model is intended for educational, visual demonstration, and scientific outreach purposes.
