Description
This model began with a broken piece of plastic and ended with a satisfying solution to an annoying detail in my shower that had bothered me for a long time.
My previous shower head holder was too short and directed the water at an awkward angle instead of from above. My model is an improvement of my old shower head holder and a remix of the Macronot's original model.
It consists of several functional parts:
angled shower head holder
extension piece with tilt joint and threaded foot for adjusting the spray angle
shower head holder
anti‑rotation blocker with hook for accessories such as brushes
Print settings:
Layer height: 0.2–0.3 mm (0.4 mm nozzle)
Perimeters: 3–5 depending on the part
Infill: 10–20% gyroid
Solid layers: 3 top and 3 bottom
Supports: see images
Material: white PLA+
Materials:
printed parts
tilt‑joint foot: 1× M4×18 mm screw, 1× M4 washer, 1× M4 nut
threaded foot: 2× M4×12 mm screws, 2× M4 washers, 2× M4 nuts
Notes:
On the angled shower head holder I tested some custom‑designed supports; the print worked quite well. Feel free to use them or generate your own supports in the slicer.
The model file contains additional parts from the design history, such as a straight version of the shower head holder, a foot with tilt joint and a separate shower head holder. Use whatever fits your needs or modify the STEP file for your own adjustments.
The spray angle is adjusted by rotating the threaded foot.
Happy Printing
