Sup fin - Slide in box model

A collection of SUP fin designs specifically for Slide-In box mounts (see last picture).

By printing the fin blade flat on its side, you get an incredibly strong part while cutting down on print time. The design features a generic base that can be reused across all the different fin blades—saving you filament, time, and weight in your SUP bag.

Print settings:

• Infill: 50%

• Supports: None needed

• Tested Materials: Successfully tested and proven in both PLA and PETG.

Fin designs:

• Touring: Features a large surface area with a swept-back leading edge.

  • Improves tracking (straight-line paddling)

  • Improves stability

• River: A low-profile, shallow-depth design.

  • Less depth, good for shallow waters

  • Less chance to collect tangled river weeds

• Surf: Smaller pointier profile.

  • Quick, responsive turns and agility in the waves.

• Shark: An all-around fin size with an aggressive, eye-catching shark fin silhouette.

  • Solid everyday performance

  • Turning heads while your board is resting on the beach!
