Description
While HeyGears RS series is very popular, the Reflex series, especially the Reflex 2 series, is less so. But if you want to use HeyGears line of engineering resins, it's the better choice. Thus I went with the Reflex 2 for my maker lab.
Because I couldn't find a cover for the Reflex 2/2 Pro resin tank, I made one myself. It took me three spools of filament to get it dialed in, but I'm happy with the results!
This comes in three parts so that it fits in the build volume of most FDM printers. The parts are assembled using an interlocking finger joint. You may have to wiggle the joints a little to get them flush. Just a dab of superglue here or there will hold the pieces together as there is already a lot of mechanical strength. (For those with larger build plates, I've added a "cover left and right merged.")
You can print these in a variety of filaments, just note that few are completely resin/IPA-resistant over time (nylon is but it's a huge PITA to print with). I've tried with success PLA and PETG (the latter seems to be slightly better).
Remixing is welcome, just give me attribution. No commercial use, however.
