Description
I printed the Leatherman Raptor holster by Про СМП. I used the clip that was included to attach the holster to a pack with MOLLE webbing. I was not satisfied with how loose it fit on the pack and allowed the shears to flop around while it was attached to my ATV. With a little help, I designed a MOLLE compatible clip that attaches to the holster instead of the clip or loop. AI assisted me in getting the connection to the holster right.
I printed the prototype in PLA. The original fit so tightly in the webbing that one of the arms broke while I was trying to remove it after test fitting (see the photos). I have corrected that in the file. I suggest printing this in PETG or the same material and settings as you print the holster. for strength, I would increase the wall count to 4-5. Even at 2 walls and 10% infil with the PLA prototype, it held the holster and shears securely and required moderate force to snap the arms. I also fixed the crack that is shown in the prototype cover photo.
As in the original model, there are two versions of this to fit the original screw and another model to use an M4 screw and nut to be compatible. They are labeled along the same lines of the original models.
