Description
I needed a way to manage my cables along VSlot aluminum extrusions on my self-made CNC router, so I created these bricks. They fit into one 20mm VSlot profile and have slots for two (up to) 4mm zip-ties.
To mount them onto the VSlot extrusion, you need a fitting nut and an 8mm long flat-head screw (the ones you usually find for OpenBuilds projects). The recess in the brick sets the screw's head flush so that it does not interfere with the cables.
You'll find two versions of these bricks, one 20mm, and one 16mm wide. The 16mm wide version is for situations where you need more clearance to neighboring parts (like the too-long screws of my Z axis on my router).
On VSlot extrusions like 2040, 2060, or larger, you can fit multiple bricks on neighboring rails.
You can print a brick upright without any supports, as seen in the 3mf files.
I printed mine with PETG.
