Description
The Model was designed to be printed with a 0.40mm Nozzle and a 0.10mm Layer Height for everything but the first Layer which can be left at 0.20mm to not be causing any issues with textured Beds.
Track Links can be inserted either orientation ( top or bottom facing ) and can thus also be used to aid with the installation of the Track Pads if need be.
Personally, I found the following procedure to result in the least issues:
Insert like 5x Tracks into Jig and press together while also aligning them towards one Edge ( there's not MUCH play but there IS some )
Using a Paint Brush - Apply Plastic Model Glue ( like the Tamiya ones ) to the Center Guide Links of the Tracks for now avoiding the Side Connectors.
Flip the Jig over onto a Tissue so that the small Assembly of Tracks will be released from it and onto the Tissue.
Apply more Glue to the Side Connectors.
Repeat the above steps to have a bunch of Assemblies and then connect those together ( either in the Jig or on the Tissue ).
Doing it like that should avoid the risk of the Tracks getting glued to the Jig.
With the Track Link Center Guides facing into the Jig you can also use it to assist with attaching the Track Pads into the Track Links.
