Description
Tired of FiiO's poor power management? Wish you could get a whole day out of your Snowsky Retro Nano? Well now you can and somewhat in style.
Fits a 963450 battery, but this can be altered with relative ease as I've included a STEP file.
WARNING - Be careful with lithium ion batteries. Battery fires are no joke. If you're not comfortable handling batteries, then please do not proceed with using this model.
These are the settings I've tested with, though there's nothing so special about this model that means you can't try other settings.
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Layer height: 0.1mm
Material: Prusament PCCF
Supports: None
Skirt: None
Print the base with the exterior face down.
Print the case with the top face down.
Make sure both the included 10440 battery and your new battery are fully charged.
Carefully remove battery door from the FiiO Snowsky Retro Nano (you'll need a small, thin object to bend the retention clips out of their locating hole).
Solder some thin terminal shims to the new battery wires.
Securely wedge the shims between existing battery and contacts.
If you can't manage to do this securely or use shims, then solder the wires to the terminals.
Insert Retro Nano and battery together carefully.
Place base on bottom of the case.
Screw together with some M3 SHSC screws (M3x4 to M3x8 length).
