Description
A functional, 3D-printed door catcher featuring a magnetic toggle mechanism. It utilizes 4 disk magnets (two on the base mount and two on the pivoting flap) to snap and lock the latch securely into position, keeping the door held in place.
Print & Assembly Notes:
Hardware required: 4 neodymium disk magnets and a pin or screw for the hinge axis.
Perimeters: 4 wall loops minimum for structural integrity around the hinge and magnet pockets.
Infill: 25%–35% (Gyroid or Grid).
Supports: None needed if parts are oriented flat on the build plate.
