Description
A fly agaric (Amanita muscaria) toadstool as a 2-color earring charm,
printed standing in one piece on an AMS / multi-material printer.
~18 mm cap, ~22 mm tall to the top of the loop
- 2 colors: red cap + white stem/warts
- The white warts are cut as COMPLEMENTARY dimples in the red cap (red =
dome − warts) and re-added to the white solid, so the colors tile with
zero overlap and never bore a hole through the body
- A >=45 deg conical gill underside lets the umbrella cap print cap-up
with no supports; the stem narrows to a flat volva foot for adhesion
- Integral hanging loop (Ø2.2 wire ring) — fits a 0.8 mm jump ring
Files:
fly_agaric_combined.stl— single STL with 2 named solids cap/
stem); Import → right-click → "Split to Parts" → assign RED to cap,
WHITE to stem. Coordinates preserved exactly (the white warts travel
inside the stemsolid, locked to the cap).
- fly_agaric_earring.scad— fully parametric source (cap size, wart
count/size, stem proportions, loop).
Print:
Standing, cap up, no supports, 0.12–0.2 mm layers, 3 walls
- PLA or PETG; symmetric, so print twice for a pair
- Add a jump ring + ear hook (hang from the metal ring, not the ear wire)
