Palm rest base / riser for Keychron Silicone Palm Rest

Hi

I have this Keychron Silicone Palm Rest for my Keychron Q1 Max

From my experience the palm rest is too low and is not as ergonomic as I would like, it requires an 'extension' of the wrist (upwards bending) when typing.

This base raises the palm rest slightly higher, it slots into the hexagonal recesses underneath the palm rest holding it in place.

This is to fit the Keycrhon Silicone Palm Rest listed for the following models:

V1 / V1 Max / V2 / V2 Max / Q9 / Q1 / Q1 Pro / Q1 HE / Q1 Max / Q2 / Q2 Pro / Q2 Max / Q2 HE / P1 / P1 Pro / P1 HE / L5 HE / X4 / X6 / PR47

Versions

The original model I made was not made to be easily printed and requires supports, I made a second 'easy' version that is not concave so can be printed with the hexagons on top.

Printing

You will need to print two, the model covers half of the keyboard. This was to avoid having a large long flat print.

• Material: Any

• Layer Height: 0.2mm - 0.4mm, mine were 0.25mm

• I recommend variable layer height with Balanced or Structural profile in Prusa slicer

• Supports: Mandatory for the 'Original' model, not needed for the 'Easy' model.

• Perimeters: 3 (just my preference)

• Infill: 15%
