TS100 Soldering Iron Safety Guard and Stand

Guard and stand for the TS100 soldering iron. This is an adaptation of the original model for TS Miniware tips with a heater sleeve.

I have been using the original model for several years, and I am very grateful to its author, @tmorris9, for such a useful design.

Differences from the original model: a smaller mounting hole diameter and a larger bevel from the center toward the edges.

Installation:

1. Wait until the soldering iron tip has cooled down.

2. Use an H1.5 hex key or a T6 Torx key to loosen the two screws on both sides of the soldering iron.

3. Pull out the tip, press the guard firmly onto it, and install the tip back into the iron.

4. Tighten the two screws you loosened earlier.

Now you can place the soldering iron on your desk without worrying that it will roll away or burn the surface.

Я пользуюсь оригинальной моделью уже несколько лет и очень благодарна её автору @tmorris9 за такое полезное изобретение.

Отличия от оригинальной модели: уменьшенный диаметр посадочного отверстия, увеличенный скос от центра к краям.

Установка.

1. Дождитесь остывания жала паяльника.

2. С помощью шестигранного ключа H1.5 или Torx-ключа T6 ослабьте два винта по обе стороны паяльника.

3. Вытащите жало, плотно насадите на него защиту и установите обратно.

4. Закрутите два ранее ослабленных винта.

Теперь вы можете класть паяльник на стол, не опасаясь, что он укатится или прожжёт поверхность.
