Description
3D-printable phone mount for motorcycle and bicycle handlebars.
V3 is the latest and most refined version of this mount. The design is lighter, more compact, easier to adjust, and more stable at higher speeds.

The upper phone holder now uses an integrated sliding locking mechanism, so there is no longer a separate screw to remove and align every time you insert or remove the phone.
Upper and lower phone holders are available in the following internal width and depth combinations:
73 mm width: 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 mm depth
75 mm width: 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 mm depth
77 mm width: 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 mm depth
79 mm width: 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 mm depth
81 mm width: 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 mm depth
Each width file, such as qRig W73, includes both the upper and lower phone holders in all available depth options.
A separate custom 76 mm version is also included. This version was designed specifically for my iPhone with its case, so it does not include the full range of depth options available for the other widths.
The custom 76 mm set includes:
Upper holder: 76 mm width × 15 mm depth
Lower holder: 76 mm width × 12 mm depth
These two parts are intended to be used together as a matched set. Additional depth options for the 76 mm version may be added in the future.
Measure your phone with its case installed and select the next available size equal to or slightly larger than its actual width and depth.
The main rig is available in the following lengths:
160 mm
170 mm
180 mm
190 mm
200 mm
The corresponding files are named qRig L160.stl, qRig L170.stl, and so on.
Two clamp versions are included with each rig:
Threaded insert version — the M6 threaded inserts are installed directly into the main rig, and the screws are tightened from the clamp side.
M6 nut version — the M6 nuts are inserted into the clamp, and the screws are tightened from the main rig side.
The threaded insert version is recommended and was used during my testing. However, threaded inserts and thumb screws are not strictly required. Standard M6 screws and nuts can also be used with the included nut-compatible clamp.
Other V3 improvements include:
Slimmer and lighter overall construction
More compact phone-holding frame
Reinforced arm between the phone holder and handlebar clamp
Slightly increased handlebar clearance to help prevent contact with the motorcycle tank
Improved stability against wind pressure and movement during longer rides
I have currently tested V3 for approximately 50 km on a motorcycle, including speeds of up to 160 km/h, and have not noticed any issues so far.

Please note that personal testing is not a guarantee of safety or long-term durability. Print quality, material, installation, vibration, temperature, UV exposure, and wear can all affect the strength of the mount. Inspect it regularly, tighten it securely before every ride, and use it at your own risk.
