stackable beer crate for CR2032 and other button cells version 2

I love the beer crates for storage! My button cells needed a new home, so I remixed again :-)

This is a remix of 2 things, the famous battery beer crates and and a similar model found on thingiverse.

I made some changes to the original thingiverse model:

• the thingiverse model was not based on this crates here on printables  and differs a bit in size, so I adapted the size
• crate: I added some supports for the insert, so now the insert did not rest on the batteries and wobble arround
• insert: made the handle taller
• insert: changed the CR2032 sized slots to smaller slots to fit CR1620 or similar better
• insert: added a cover piece so those tiny batteries didn't get loose while moving the crate
• insert: strengthen the handle

UPDAETE 21.12.2022: update description and print instructions. Also use multi remix source feature that is meanwhile availabe here on printables. Also remove 3mf file and v1 version so nobody is confused. Added v2 inserts as stl. Additonaly I added a link to my mini tweezers that are ideal addition to the crate

UPDATE 16.12.2022: some complain that that handle broke easily, I can not confirm this with my material, but I see the point - so I made the base area of the hande bigger. Use the …v2.3mf to get the update

Print Instructions

• 5% infill
• 2 Perimeters
• 0.2 layer height
• 0.6 line width
• for the inserts: Activate “thin walls” 
• for the bottom insert with the handle: use 3 perimeters from 9 mm height to top for stronger handle
• PLA works good (I used polyMaker polyTerra arctic teal)

For the insert with the handle, please consider your material choice, brittle material could lead to a snapped of handle. Perhaps tweak your print settings to your needs…. and in general the handle is quite stable, but in the end it is still plastic and should treated gently.

Battery pickup mini tweezers (see pictures)

Sometimes it could be hard to pick up a battery from the crate. Therefore I created mini tweezers that fits on top ov the insert cover: https://www.printables.com/model/345882-mini-tweezers-for-battery-pickup
