Description
Years too late for the fad but why not. Spinning bearings still feel good.
Uses a standard 608 skateboard bearing for the center and 1/2in. (12.67mm according to calipers) ball bearings for the outer weights.
2, 3, and 6 ball options available. the 3 v3 has a different inner ring brace? we'll call them a brace, because the 3 v2 brace looked a little weird so I whipped up a new version.
I started with the 2 ball myself though moving it while it spins feels a bit wonky so I bumped straight to 6, though I still prefer how the 2 looks. Edit: love the 2 the best. 3 is good, 6 is hefty and spins for quite awhile.
It's all press-fit with tolerances based on my Prusa Mini and the readings from my caliper. No supports, default slicer settings. Had to use a fair amount of force to seat the bearing in the center and sandwiched it between another flat print and my table to try to avoid breaking those braces. the ball bearings just snapped into place in the outer holders.
The thumb rest is sized to fit the backside of the bearing collar so it's kinda small for the front side.
